Services for Patients with Hearing or Language Difficulties

Scarborough Village Surgery aims to accommodate patients with hearing or language difficulties. If you or a family member requires an interpreter, please let our receptionist know upon making a consultation. We will then organise an interpreter prior to the appointment.

Scarborough Village Surgery utilises the following services for patients with hearing or language difficulties:

National Relay Service (NRS) 1800 555 660
Translation & Interpreter Service (TIS) 1300 655 081

It is advisable we provide TIS with as much notice as possible (5 days is preferred) in order to maximise your chances of obtaining an on-site interpreter.
